SCHOOL COUNSELING AT ASPIRE
Mindy Salyers (BA, MSC), a seasoned Christian educator and licensed School Counselor with nearly two decades of experience, has made significant contributions in both private and public educational sectors, focusing particularly on at-risk students. Her commitment to bridging educational disparities is evident through her involvement in six grant-funded projects. Currently, she is collaborating with the La Sierra University Center for Conflict Resolution to pioneer a school counseling service for Conferences across the NAD. Mindy’s expertise is further enhanced by her certifications as an OLWEUS Bullying Prevention trainer, a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Specialist, and in Restorative Practices. Her diverse experiences across various educational levels have shaped her passion for nurturing the social, emotional, and academic development of students, deeply rooted in her Adventist faith.
Mindy’s personal life is as fulfilling as her professional journey. She resides in a serene mountain cabin retreat with her husband, two daughters, and a beloved golden retriever, where she finds balance and inspiration amidst nature’s tranquility.
